Patrick Bowman (2013) graduated as a doctor (MBChB) from Glasgow University last year. He is now an FY2 Doctor, working in A&E at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

Anya Bowman (2015) completed her Occupational Therapy Degree earlier this year at Queen Margaret University in Musselburgh and is looking forward to the ceremony which is due to take place next summer. She is currently working with The Good Care Group.

Monica Murray (2016) has recently graduated from the University of Amsterdam, with an LLM in Public International law. She will be interning with the International Bar Association as of January 2021, working in the office of the Executive Director, and conducting research on International Criminal Law, and International Humanitarian Law.

Ross McDonald (2015) graduated in June this year from Strathclyde University with an MEng (Masters) in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering with distinction.
He is currently undertaking a graduate engineering role with SP Energy Networks, which is going very well. “I want to become an operational engineer - working out in the field - so that I can gain a real understanding of the Scottish Power’s network, how it works, and learn more about the assets deployed on the network”.

Sophie Byrne (2015) is due to graduate from the University of Glasgow in December 2020 with an LLM with Distinction in Intellectual Property Law, having gained a First Class LLB in 2019. She is the recipient of this year's Cloch Solicitors Prize for best performance on her course and is currently undertaking the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice, also at the University of Glasgow.
Sophie has secured a traineeship with Anderson Strathern due to begin in September 2021 and plans to work in the field of commercial law, specialising in intellectual property.

James Frazier McBride (2017) has just graduated with an LLB (First Class) from the University of Glasgow.
James is currently undertaking the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice, also at the University of Glasgow. He has secured a traineeship with Clyde & Co due to begin in August 2022 and plans to focus his legal work in litigation and dispute resolution, specialising in equality/discrimination law, healthcare law and negligence. As the graduation speaker for the Class of 2021, James ended his presentation with the following quote by the late US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, “Fight for the things you care about, but do it in a way that will lead others to join you”.

Charlotte Ross (OA 2016) has recently graduated with a BSc Honours Degree in Neuroscience from the University of Edinburgh. She has been accepted to complete a Masters at the University of Glasgow in Precision Medicine and Pharmacological Innovation starting in September 2021. The course covers stratified (personalised) medicine, bioinformatics, pharmacogenomics and clinical trials, and its aim is to teach the skills to improve the efficacy, safety and cost effectiveness of new clinical treatments. Following her Masters, Charlotte plans to work in the life sciences sector. She says “I had the best 4 years in Edinburgh but I am looking forward to the next chapter back in Glasgow!”
